Inilah Enaknya Fedora..Sebelum release ke Versi realease yang lebih baru…dilakukan vote untuk menentukan Codename realease versi tersebut…nah kali ini Fedora dah sampai ke Versi 10 nich..Mayan dah…untuk Codename Versi 10 ini namanya agak sedikit aneh…”Cambridge“…sedangkan Versi sebelumnya ( Fedora 9 ) itu “Sulphur“…Sedikit aneh nggak ?? But…Tenang ini bukan hal aneh kok…

Di Fedora sebelum menentukan Codename untuk Realease Versi Baru dilakukan Voting terlebih dahulu…Bagi yang sudah join di Fedoraproject dan hasil vote terpilihlah nama “Cambridge“. berikut hasil polingnya :

Outcomes:

As defined in the election text, the one (1) candidate with the greatest
number of votes will be chosen as the release name for Fedora 10.

At close of voting there were:
1900 users eligable to vote
390 valid ballots

Using the Fedora Range Voting method, each candidate could attain a maximum of
3510 votes (9*390).
